Haldon View is in the heart of the picturesque estuary fishing village of Lympstone and offers exceptional views of the Exe Estuary. This lovely Edwardian self-catering holiday home is located at the end of a lane and is adjacent to National Trust land. The house has been refurbished to a high standard, providing comfortable accommodation and full WiFi and the views can be enjoyed from the sitting room, master bedroom and gardens.
The light and airy sitting room has two comfy sofas and features a charming decorative Edwardian fireplace, TV with DVD player and video player and a good selection of DVDs, videos, games and books. The dining area with a dining table seating 4-6 people leads to a well-equipped kitchen with full-size cooker and gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and a small breakfast table and chairs and housing a utility area with washing machine and WC. Upstairs the light and spacious master bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and stunning views of the estuary from the large window a further double bedroom and single bedroom for which a ‘Z’ bed can be supplied if requested. A modern main bathroom leads from the single bedroom and has a bath with shower over, hand basin and WC.
Haldon View has very spacious gardens to the side and front with a paved patio area, wooden garden furniture and a brick-built BBQ for alfresco dining. There are also two sun loungers available. The house has a generous carport with two parking places to the front/side of the house. It is only a couple of minutes stroll down to the pretty harbour, shop & post office, friendly village pubs and restaurants, ice cream parlour and café. Michael Caines’ fabulous, new, luxury hotel, Lympstone Manor, is within easy walking distance. Access to the cycle paths to Exmouth and Topsham are just minutes from the house and the village boasts 18 footpaths offering beautiful coastal and country walks. A short drive into Exmouth will take you to the miles of sandy beaches of the Jurassic Coast or it is an easy drive inland to the beautiful moors. The village train station has a frequent and regular service to Exmouth and Exeter, and there is also a bus service close by. A car is not essential.
