Larkrise is a beautiful and spacious, self-catering holiday home situated at the end of a quiet lane overlooking open fields and the Exe Estuary. For hikers and bird watchers, large family gatherings, and well behaved pets this property is perfect! The property is tucked away in a quiet lane and offers peace and tranquility whilst being in easy reach of local amenities, being a few minutes’ walk from a small supermarket and bus stops. The town and beach are approximately a 20 minutes stroll.
Upon entering Larkrise you are greeted with a large and light hallway with picture window overlooking the estuary. There is a convenient ground floor WC, a snug with sofa and wood-burner a good sized dining room with river views and a spacious living room with plenty of seating and a gas fire. The very large modern kitchen/breakfast room has a large double oven, USA style large fridge/freezer, table and chairs, dishwasher and a washing machine.
On the first floor there is a spacious landing with French doors out onto a balcony from which to admire the lovely views, a beautifully decorated large family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle and a large single bedroom (additional z-bed available on request). There is also a double bedroom with en-suite WC a twin room with views and access to the balcony and a master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom.
Outside there is an area of decking with fabulous views and patio furniture. Dartmoor can be seen in the distance on a clear night and the sun sets across the river. There is a pretty garden surrounding the property and ample parking on the driveway.
Please Note – in order not to impede the view the decking is not fenced. There is also an unguarded small pond in the side garden – children and vulnerable adults should be supervised at all times.
