Coronavirus (Covid-19)

17 MARCH 2020

We recognise and appreciate the increased uncertainty that coronavirus (Covid-19) may be causing our customers. The situation is changing daily and we will continue to follow guidance from UK Authorities.

In light of the current situation we will do everything we can to assist you with your upcoming holiday. If any customer who have booked to stay in one of our properties between now and 30th April needs to change the date of their holiday, we will credit the total sum they have already paid us towards a new booking in one of our properties.

We provide a welcome utility pack and toilet rolls for all our properties, however, we recommend that you pack essential items such as toilet rolls and nappies in the event such items become in short supply.

FAQ’s

How can I be sure the property I am due to visit has been cleaned appropriately?

We have advised all our owners and cleaners to review the NHS guidelines on how to prevent the spread of germs https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/how-to-prevent-germs-from-spreading/

Will I receive a refund if I want to cancel my holiday?

At the moment the government hasn’t issued any warnings against travel within the UK and we are not currently offering refunds. However, as a gesture of goodwill, customers who have booked to stay in one of our properties between now and 30th April and wish to cancel completely will receive a refund less the deposit paid.

Will I receive a refund if I need to self-isolate and am due to go on holiday?

If you have travel insurance, please speak to your insurance provider. If you do not have travel insurance and you are due to travel up to 30th April, we will credit you the total sum already paid to us towards a new booking in one of our properties.

What if I need to self-isolate whilst I am on holiday?

As this is an ever changing situation, we recommend that you review the up to date guidance from UK Authorities.

If you are advised to stay in your holiday cottage, please call our office on 01395 267395. Or in an emergency our out of hours number 07591 861 391.
