How to Book

Reservations can be made via our web site: www.exmouthholidays.co.uk or alternatively, select the property of your choice and telephone us on 01395 267395. Please leave your details on our answer phone and we will call you back within 24 hours when we will be pleased to confirm the availability or suggest alternative accommodation to suit and make your reservation. Your reservation will be held for 5 working days while we await receipt of your deposit payment (including travel cot/highchair hire charges). Payment can be made by debit/credit card, or by cheque after special arrangement. A 4% surcharge will be made for payments made by credit card. You will then receive prompt confirmation of your booking.

Full balance of your booking fee due on the first day of the calendar month before your holiday starts.
(e.g. for a booking of the 16th - 19th September, the balance is due by 1st August)

All cheques should be made payable to 'Eaton-Terry Clark'. Final details concerning key collection and other relevant matters will be sent to you after your full payment has been received.

Cancellation Insurance

Your booking is a legally binding contract, and like all contracts, you should protect yourself in case things go wrong - that's why we ask you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. Your deposit is non-refundable and if you cancel your booking after the balance is paid, we will not be able to refund you any money unless we re-let the property for the same period. We reserve the right to charge for our administration costs in handling any cancellation.

Booking Conditions

All bookings entered into with Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays are subject to the following conditions;

  1. There shall be no variation in the number and composition of the party of guests without the prior consent of Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays.
  2. Whilst Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays will endeavour to ensure that the accommodation requested will be available, they make no guarantee or warranty on that behalf and shall not be liable in any way if the said accommodation shall not be available for any reason. Should the accommodation not be available, we will make all reasonable endeavours to offer similar accommodation or provide a refund.
  3. Accommodation shall be available from 4:00 pm on the first day of the period booked until 10:00 am on the last day of the period booked. Guests are required to vacate the accommodation promptly by 10.00 am leaving it in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage or loss incurred during the holiday period shall be paid for by the guests, the amount payable shall be decided by Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays and this decision shall be final. Receipts for cleaning and damages will be provided upon request.
  4. Guests must pay the deposit specified when submitting the booking form, unless the date of submission is within two calendar months of the holiday whereupon guests must pay the full cost of their booking when submitting their booking form. It is a condition of the booking that the total cost of the holiday be paid on the first day of the calendar month before the holiday starts and any failure to do so will entitle Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays to cancel the booking, whereupon the deposit will be retained.
  5. Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays accepts no responsibility for any property lost or stolen from the accommodation nor any accidents or injuries sustained in the accommodation or while on your holiday.
  6. Every effort has been made to ensure that individual holiday homes descriptions contained in the details are correct. In the interest of continued improvement Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays reserves the right to make modifications to the holiday home specification without prior notice.
  7. No single sex groups will be allowed unless by arrangement with Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays.
  8. Debit/credit card details will be securely held by Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays, with any loss or damage to the property, or unpaid fees deducted without prior warning.
  9. Holidaymakers will comply with the East Devon recycling scheme, full details of which will be provided for every property. Should professional time be required in respect of refuse and recycling a charge to the holiday maker will occur.
  10. No excessive noise or other disruptive behaviour will occur from any member of the group. In the event that Eaton-Terry Clark has to respond to such a complaint, a fee will be charged.
  11. Confirms not to bring any pets to the property unless by prior arrangement. Should pets be discovered without agreement the booking is invalidated immediately without any reimbursement.

Cancellations

The full holiday booking shall be paid if the holiday booked is cancelled or reduced in length for any reason other than the act of default of Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays. Guests are therefore advised to notify Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays immediately of any change of plan and in that instance Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays will make every reasonable effort to re-let the accommodation. If they succeed in doing so then all monies paid less a cancellation fee of £95 may, at the discretion of Eaton-Terry Clark Holidays, be refunded.
