Exeter Cathedral

The cathedral is one of the most visited places in the Westcountry. Being right near the shopping centre of Exeter you can’t miss this medieval wonder. The Cathedral is normally open for visiting between 9.30am and 5pm. You may also be asked to make a voluntary donation towards the upkeep of the Cathedral. There is both shop and café available to visitors and surrounded by grassy areas, many people take picnics and take in the majestic view. Free guided tours are available on most days held by a team of voluntary stewards who can be found throughout the building during the day wearing red sashes.
